THE PROUD FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See what you can find...

The babies heart, The baby picking it's nose (hahaha), the baby scrunched up, another one of the heart, the baby again, and the last one is of the babies big foot. Enjoy.

Another day at the doctors. It was just a standard visit. She asked how I had been feeling. Took my blood pressure. Measured the belly. Did an exam, and then weighed me at the end! I told her that I was feeling fine, but had some cramping in the past couple of days. Not to worry though it was only because I had been pushing myself a little too much at the restaurant. She just told me to take it easy for awhile, and to rest as often as possible. Other than that though my blood pressure was good. The belly was measured at 21cm, and my weight was at 67.5 kilos. I gained 3 kilos since the last visit with her, wich was about a month ago. Can you believe that? She was not to pleased, but she wasn't angry with me. She just told me to be very careful with what I eat, and not to let my cravings take control! She was also able to find/hear the babies heart beat a little bit faster this time. Very amazing. I told the doc that when she was examing me, the baby was moving a lot! She said, "Now it really starts to begin." Which is true. Ever since about a month ago the baby has been moving none stop.

The very 1st time, Gian and I were watching TV at the house and all of a sudden I felt something in my stomach. I thought maybe it was just gas or something, but then I waited awhile and it happened again. I told Gian give me your hand. He was like Why? I told him just give it to me. So I put his hand on my belly and with a couple of pushes on my stomach the baby moved again. He got soooo excited! Because as all you mothers know, it's really different for him, because it's not happening in HIS belly, it's happening in MINE/OURS! It's the greatest feeling in the world, to be able to feel your own baby moving inside of you. Sorry guys...you are truely missing out on a miracle of a life time.

It is now the 5th month of our pregnancy, and I am growing larger by the day. I am, to be exact, 22 weeks and 2 days into the pregnancy. Gian and I went to the doctors last week for the 2nd ultrasound/sonogram reading, and we were able to take my parents with us! They got to see everything. Including the sex of the baby, even though Gian and I don't want to know, but it was very difficult for them to tell what it was sooooooo...sorry you are all just going to have to wait until the baby is born. But they did get to see the babies peripheral view: the head, the face, the cute little nose and the babies mouth and HUGE lips! (It looks like the baby will take after Gian's big o'lips on that one). The arms and hands and all 10 fingers. The belly and spinal cord. The legs and feet and all 10 toes. And the heart and lungs, etc. The doctor that was viewing everything even turned the picture to 3-D, and put it in color (orange-redish). The baby even looked like it was picking it's nose and putting it in it's mouth at one point. The whole thing was very neat. She said that everything looked GREAT and rated me as a 10. So you will be happy to know that things seem to be progressing quite nicely.
