This year was the babies first carnival experience. The first night we had to work, but after that Felicia and I ended up getting ready at Lili and Eric's house and then ended up having dinner in the Lagoa. After dinner, we all ended up on the street following a party truck, a band, and the rest of the crowd. We all had a good time drinking (except me of course), talking, dancing and just getting into the carnival mood.

The next day we rested, but the day after that there was another Luau party on the beach, right down the street from the house. When we arrived, there were already some people there enjoying themselves, but no music because one of the DJ's wires had gone out. It was ok though because there were a couple of bond fires going on and some of the locals had brought their guitars. So the crowd was being intertained by that. After about an hour or so the Dj finally got the music going and we enjoying ourselves throughout the night. The baby too. I think he/she liked it better when the locals were playing their guitars, rather than the Dj playing his music. The baby is already taking after his/her father!

Today was the babies second time on Clarissa's boyfriends boat. We got up in the morning, got ready and met Clarissa and Daniella at the marina, at around 12 o'clock in the afternoon. We all ended up taking beer, charcoal and meat to bar-be-que after. We rode through Barra da Lagoa and out into the ocean, but it was too choppy to stay out there so we ended up riding to the end of Costa da Lagoa, which is in the middle of Floripa, docked, unloaded our things and ended up laying out and bar-be-queing. It was an awesome day of just enjoying eachother and spending it with Gian's family.

Another day at the beach with Gian and the baby. We (the baby and I) were laying out while Gian was catching some waves and enjoying the water. I think the baby really loves being at the beach because everytime we go, the baby moves like no other. When ever I take a dip in the ocean and get out, the baby starts moving as if he/she wants me to go back in again. It's every exciting.
