HERBALIFE
This past weekend Gian and I went to an Herbalife meeting in a small german city, north of Florianopolis, called Blumenau. Renata and Nilson, the couple in the picture above, are our herbalife mentors. That weekend they introduced us to the rest of the group, and presented us as Supervisors of Herbalife! This week or the beginning of next Gian and I should be getting our Supervisor pins and diplomas from the U.S.

Along with the meeting and workshop there was also a small costume party for the Herbalife Family.
(con't) Italian night...Sundried Tomatoes with Buffalo Mozzarella and basil Pasta. and garlic bread.

Mexican night...Filet Mignon fajitas with rice and guacamole.

April 23rd, 2008. Our 3 year wedding Anniversary. Gian worked all day and I ended up cooking dinner for him. I made herb crusted chicken marsala with garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed chayote squash. uuuummmmmmm.......It was very good!

Italian night. Caprese Salad with avocado (of course) and balsamic vinegrette.

If you look closely you see the baby popping out on the left side of my belly.

Today I experienced my first Braxton Hicks contraction! It was pretty painful, but I guess kind of neat at the same time. Now this means that the end is getting closer, and the baby will soon be here to greet us all!
The contraction lasted about 25-30 seconds, but it seemed a lot longer than that! I was in the bathroom and then all of a sudden I got this really sharp pain in my uterus. I actually thought that it was gas, (lol) but then the pain started to get a little bit stronger. So I just told myself, relax because it will pass soon. Then I started to think ok just breath...heehew heehew heehew. I suppose it helped a little? As I was still in pain I tryed walking back to the couch to sit down, but couldn't manage that so I just stayed in in the bathroom, crouching over, until the contraction was over. About 30 seconds later...I was fine!

Even though we're supposed to be getting everything from the U.S., Gian and I wanted to buy a little something to use in the mean time. And the beding, pillows, small diaper bag and things are from Gian's mom, Cíntia, and grandma, Dirce. I also started getting "Thee HOSPITAL bag" ready for the baby and I, just so that I/We don't happen to over look anything.
Here i'm about 31-32 weeks and still growing!
These pictures were taken about a week ago but if you look closely you can kind of see the baby pushing out of my stomach (on the right side).
