Gian and I being silly at Porto das Ostras. A restaurant in the south of the island in the bairro of Riberão. It's becoming kind of tradition for Gian and I go there for lunch every time it rains. As my parents well know, because when they were here we also introduced this bairro to them when it rained here in Floripa.
Gian and Cíntia ordered the "Sequencia das Ostras." Which you can see, in the picture below, I was very sad about this because I was able to eat any of them.
Instead I had some fish with vegetables, white rice, sautéed potatoes, pirão and farinha. It was excellent as you can see from the pictures.

A day spent at the beach, Praia Mole, with Gian and my mother-in-law, Cíntia. We've been lucky these past few days with the weather because it's actually been pretty gloomy over here in Floripa.
I'm 32 weeks. Weighing in at 72 kilos, which is about 156-157 pounds. And my belly is measuring at 32 centimeters, about 12.6 inches. The baby is good. Strong heart beat, and my Doctor said that he/she is already getting in position to come out!

I'm about 30 weeks here and getting more and more uncomfortable. It feels like I have to go pee every 10 minutes or so. But it's good to know that my mood swings aren't as bad anymore! Gian is very pleased about that. It's only when it's really hot over here and when I'm hungery that I get moody. After I feed my belly though...very content with everything.
I'm not sure how much i'm weighing at the time, because we haven't gone to the doctors in a month, but our next appointment is this tuesday @ around 10:30am. Sooooooo, I let you all know how things are then.
The baby is is about 15-17 inches long and almost 3 pounds. The bones are fully developed, but they're still very soft and pliable. By now the baby is able to store iron, calcium and phosphorus. He/She is also able to open and close his/her eyes and is able to distinguish light from dark, and able to track a light source. I was also reading that if you point a flash light on the belly, the baby may move it's head to follow the light or even reach out to touch the moving glow! Haven't tried it yet, but when I do I'll let you know what happens.
About 7 months pregnant now, and feeling pretty much everything that the baby is doing inside my belly! It's a wonderful feeling, but at times it kind of hurts, only because the baby is starting to get bigger in that small little space I am creating for him/her. His/her punches, and movements, are actually a lot more frequent and more forceful. It's like a little ball moving around in there. Pretty weird, but wonderful.
The baby is about 15 inches and weighs about 2-3 pounds. The eyes are able to open and close, and did you know that the baby is able to sleep about 20-30 minutes at a time now! It's very exciting and starting to get very exausting. It's getting harder and harder for me to stay asleep at night. I'm up probably every hour or so, just because I have to go PEE!
